Bryna is known as Miri in our house, short for Miracle. Bryna in Gaelic means "The Strong". She was born 6 hours after the last of the pups was born - we did not expect her. She was unresponsive and not breathing when she came out. After much work, I got her to come around. She was a 'miracle' in our eyes, so we call her Miri. She is growing to be a lovely girl. She is, by far, the smartest Fila I have ever owned. She has figured out how to unlatch gates, how to climb on 700 crates and walk across to the counter to get on the other side of the short wall dog area, and how to get around the baby gate by jumping right up on the stairs and come down the other side. We have blocked all her ways to get by, but then she decided the best way was just to leap over the 3 foot dog area wall. You can see her brain working, thinking of ways to get out. Miri is what is called a Baio. She is completely raw fed. (click thumbnails for larger view)
